Important: Types of cases that are most suitable for our mobile services include canines and felines with:
- Autoimmune conditions
- Chronic disease
- Coughing (chronic)
- Cushing’s disease
- Diabetes
- Endocrinopathies
- Gastric foreign bodies
- Gastrointestinal diseases
- Hepatopathies
- Immune mediated disease
- Kidney issues
- Lethargy
- Liver problems
- Nasal disease
- Polyuria and Polydipsia cases
- Poor appetite
- Respiratory disease
- Suspected neoplasia
- Urinary diseases
- Vomiting
- Weight loss
Types of cases that are not suitable for our mobile services include:
- Obvious neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac, ophthalmologic, or dermatologic cases.
- Unstable patients with respiratory distress, low blood pressure, severe anemias, cardiac arrythmias, are in need of a blood transfusion, or in shock (low body temperature, high body temperature) or any other emergency services that require attention in <24 hours.
We understand that sometimes, it may not be clear if a pet has an internal medicine condition or neurologic, cardiac, or orthopedic condition. If after reviewing the patient’s records, there is a significant concern that the pet would benefit from seeing an orthopedic specialist, neurologist, or cardiologist, BCMVS will contact you and discuss whether our services are recommended.
