Savannah Craig MBA, DVM, DACVIM
Thorough, hard-working, and compassionate, Dr. Savannah Craig uniquely combines her MBA experience with over nineteen years in the veterinary profession. That includes twelve years in veterinary practice, eight years in specialty medicine practice (including five years performing and interpreting ultrasounds) and four years working in pet nutrition.
A native Houstonian, Dr. Craig studied at Texas A&M University, where she was awarded her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, an MBA (Mays Business School) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences). She went on to complete both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, then became board certified in internal medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association, and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.
She currently resides in Houston with her husband, daughter, and five dogs and four cats. When she’s not helping patients, you can find her enjoying golf, running, cooking, exploring the outdoors, and catching up on the latest movies.
In 2019, Dr. Craig launched Bayou City Mobile Veterinary Specialists to provide internal medicine specialty services for primary care veterinarians at their clinic. Her practice offers an essential, state-of-the-art service for pet parents and veterinarians alike. She is honored to be providing first-class, compassionate care to the companion animals of the Houston region.
